Take An Insightful Tea Tasting Tour

The Halpé Tea Tour is a guided experience that introduces visitors to Sri Lanka’s world-famous tea culture through Factory and Plantation Tours, handmade tea demonstrations, and a tea tasting session.

The Factory Tour takes guests step by step through the tea manufacturing process at the Uva Halpewatte Tea Factory. The Plantation Tour immerses visitors in the lush tea estates of Ella, where they can meet the hardworking tea estate workers, dress like them, and try their hand at plucking tea amid the region’s picturesque landscapes. Tours run daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with different times of day offering unique views of the scenic hillside surroundings.
